The Apple iBook "600"
features a 600 MHz PowerPC 750cx (G3) processor with a 256k
on-chip level 2 cache, 128 MB of RAM, either a 15.0 GB or
20.0 GB Ultra-ATA hard drive (20.0 GB Ultra-ATA only after
January 7, 2002), an 8X DVD-ROM drive or a 4X/4X/6X/24X
DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Drive (Combo Drive only after January 7,
2002), and 2X-AGP ATI Rage Mobility 128 graphics
acceleration in an ultrasleek case with a 12.1" TFT XGA
active-matrix display. The Apple iBook "600" shares the same
"AirPort" wireless networking, FireWire, AV, dual USB, RGB
output, built-in microphone, and stereo speakers as the
iBook "500", although the "600" also features a 100 MHz
system bus.
